ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Dina and I have been doing photography since 2016.
As a passionate photographer, I enjoy updating my friends and family on my life through my pictures. I love photography because I love capturing moments with people and nature while creating enriching art pieces. My photography journey began during a two-year mentorship from 2016 to 2018 with Trey Houston, a photographer and videographer from San Francisco, California. This experience was my foundation for understanding my perspective as an artist and establishing the skills needed. I also continued to improve my skills, including enrolling in a Photography 101 course and taking on opportunities to be a documentarian for events, including Way More Israel and Dementia Caregiver Wellness Day. Nowadays, I am working in a part-time position as a newborn photographer through MOM365.
I also got chances to have my artwork displayed in in-person galleries and online, including ArtSeed Summer Intensive (2021), VisitWashingtonDC Instagram page (2023), ArtSeed Presidio Exhibition (2024), Syzygy Winter Art Market (2024), and Syzygy Spring Art Market (2025).
Outside of photography, I love working as a child life specialist with kids and families in hospitals. Also, a personal goal of mine is to explore the world and capture what I experience through my photographs, including all 50 states in the USA. Places I have visited (and have photos of on my website include) Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, and across the United States. Here are the states that I have visited so far: California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, New York, Washington, Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii, Minnesota, and Washington, DC).
