Hello! Happy Spring and almost summer!

I am not sure who will read this, and if you do, thank you for stopping by and checking out my website and blog. I know I don't post anything on the website besides sharing my photographs, but I am trying to change that as I feel more inspired to take risks while pursuing my passion for photography. I wanted to write here what I have been up to to highlight my accomplishments while notifying you of my courageous actions these past few months.
I have submitted some work to different contests in and around where I live, and I got an acceptance with one! I can't say where, as it hasn't been shared publicly yet, but I will add it here or make another post where you can see it as soon as I can. I'm so excited, as this is the first time my photographs have been accepted after submitting them in a contest. Even more exciting, they will be published in a local private journal. I hope it will be well-received by others within the photography community. I will get myself a copy as soon as I can (and will share all about it too lol.)
I have also attempted to create and print more tangible art pieces, including bookmarks, postcards, and small prints. I know things are hard financially around the world, but I hope people are still interested in taking a piece of my art with them, as I hope my art can make someone smile and feel good. Mostly, I have been showcasing them in local art shows with the co-op, Syzygy. If you are in the area and interested in showing up to see me, the next one is this Saturday, May 17th, from 12:00 - 5:00 PM. The link to the information on the event is here.
Outside of my personal artwork, I am overjoyed that I can take this hobby and make it into part-time work with photographing newborn babies in hospitals. So far, it has been received well, and I am grateful that I could capture precious moments of life for mothers and their families. I feel so fortunate that I could take one of my favorite ways to make art and form this pathway to create some income for myself. I never thought I would get to this point, but I am excited to keep moving forward with this pathway and see where it takes me.
Thank you to anyone who is interested and is still curious about what this simple photographer has been up to. Cheers!

Also all the photos used in this post were taken from the new Sunset Dunes park in the Sunset District in San Francisco.
